FREE Team WaterSmart Spring 2015 Workshops

Streamside Land Owner Workshop
Streams are the conduit for rain and groundwater from land to sea. Residents play an important role in regulating the amount of water that flows into streams, and maintaining water quality. Through this workshop, biologist Dave Clough helps landowners understand the value of their property in the watershed context. Biologist Richard Wahlgren of Streamside Native Plants will share ideas for native plant landscaping that provide wildlife habitat and create beautiful, low-maintenance yards. Participants will learn about stream life and storm water management, and take home a native plant seedling to get started!
