Long Range Planning

Long Range Planning is responsible for the Regional Growth Strategy, Official Community Plans in six of the RDN's seven Electoral Areas, and a variety of related planning objectives (in RDN Electoral Area 'B', Gabriola Island and surrounding islands, community planning is administered by Islands Trust). Long Range Planning staff also work to support affordable housing and greenhouse gas reduction initiatives throughout the region.
