Benson Creek Falls (Ammonite Falls) Regional Park - Safety Notice
Hazard tree work has been completed in Benson Creek Falls Regional Park, however caution is still required when using trails in the woodlots around the Park. Windthrow clearing is taking place on the north and east sides of the Park. Watch for posted signs and follow direction provided by land managers.General Update:
RDN Parks staff are continuing to assess all regional and community parks and trails throughout the region for downed trees and debris and continuing clean-up following recent storms. The assessment and clean-up process will continue into 2019. Where necessary for user safety, temporary closure signs will be posted and notices added to the RDN web site. Please respect all posted signs and do not enter until the notices have been removed.We appreciate and welcome residents to report any safety concerns within RDN parks and trails to assist us in ensuring they are safe to enjoy. Please use caution when entering wooded parks and trails if it is windy. Expect there may be debris on path surfaces and beware of branches shaken loose by the wind.
