Youth week is a national celebration of youth held annually May 1 to 7. It is a week of interaction and celebration intended to build a strong connection between young people and their communities.

Youth Week Wheelie Event 11-18yrs
Bring your skateboard, scooter, roller blades or roller skates and join us in celebration of Youth Week for our first wheelie event at Oceanside Place Arena. Ethyn Smith will be giving tips to emerging skateboarders and Jordan Elves will be giving tips to emerging bladers. Come bay and check out the portable skate obstacles. Helmets are required. Tuesday, May 2nd from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. Free.

Area ‘H’ OCP Review – Archaeological Overview Assessment Community Presentation
The Regional District of Nanaimo invites the community to a presentation of the Archaeological Overview Assessment for Electoral Area ‘H’, which was undertaken as part of the Official Community Plan Review. Local archaeologists from Kleanza Consulting Ltd will present this project to the public.
