Neighborhood Emergency Preparedness Leadership
Growing Resilience and Building Skills

The NEP program focuses on working directly with residents to help increase our collective ability to adapt and respond successfully to local hazards. Residents learn how to minimize existing hazards around the home and neighborhood, acquire and store emergency supplies, prepare for evacuation, identify necessary skills and resources to be able to survive on their own for at least a week, to one month.
