Solid Waste Management Facilities

To: Commercial Haulers of Asbestos, Mixed Solid Waste, Roofing Material, Controlled Waste and Construction/Demolition Waste

New Personal Protective Equipment Requirements

As of February 15, 2017, the Regional Landfill and Church Road Transfer Station, will require all commercial customers that access the Landfill Face or designated Commercial Unloading Areas and the Transfer Station Commercial Building, wear the following protective equipment:
  • Hard Hat
  • Hi-Visibility Clothing
  • Safety Footwear
Customer and worker safety is improved when personal protective equipment is used. Should you have any questions please contact the Landfill Services Supervisor or the Superintendent Scale & Transfer Service at 250-722-2044 or Church Road Transfer Station Supervisor at 250-248-5254.
