Mr. Robinson, Nanaimo Marine Rescue Society, presented a framed picture of their new marine vessel and thanked the Board for their support.

MOVED Director Westbroek, SECONDED Director Unger, that minutes of the regular Hospital Board meeting held May 24, 2011.

Regional Hospital District Select Committee.

 

MOVED Director Westbroek, SECONDED Director Unger, that the minutes of the meeting of the Regional Hospital District Select Committee held September 6, 2011 be received.

CARRIED

MOVED Director Westbroek, SECONDED Director Lefebvre, that correspondence be sent to the Vancouver Island Health Authority advising that the Regional Hospital District supports the Oceanside Health Centre project and is prepared in principle to cost share in an estimated $14.4 million dollar budget, pending confirmation of Provincial cost sharing and a final budget.
