1998 Audited Financial Statements.

MOVED Director McGuffie, SECONDED Director McNabb, that the report on the audited financial statements for the year ended December�31,�1998 be received for information.

Five Year Capital Plan (1999-2003) Bylaw No. 1150.

MOVED Director McGuffie, SECONDED Director McNabb, that "Regional District of Nanaimo 1999 to 2003 Capital Expenditure Program Bylaw No. 1150, 1999" be introduced for first three readings.

CARRIED

MOVED Director McGuffie, SECONDED Director McNabb, that "Regional District of Nanaimo 1999 to 2003 Capital Expenditure Program Bylaw No. 1150, 1999" having received three readings be adopted.

Administration Computer Equipment Reserve Fund Expenditure Bylaw No. 1158.

MOVED Director Garnish, SECONDED Director McGuffie, that "Administration Computer Equipment Reserve Fund Expenditure Bylaw No. 1158, 1999" be introduced for first three readings.

MOVED Director McNabb, SECONDED Director Sherry, that "Administration Computer Equipment Reserve Fund Expenditure Bylaw No. 1158, 1999" having received three readings be adopted.

Annual Budget Bylaw No. 1151.

MOVED Director McGuffie, SECONDED Director Garnish,:

  1. That the 1999 annual budget providing for property taxes in the amount of $18,513,761 be approved.

  2. That "Regional District of Nanaimo 1999 Annual Budget Bylaw No. 1151, 1999" be introduced for first three readings.

A recorded vote was requested.

The motion CARRIED with Directors Holme, Luchtmeijer, Little, Duggan, Loomis, Rispin, McGuffie, McNabb, Korpan, Garnish and Hamilton voting in the affirmative and Directors Sherry, Duncan, Savage, Stanhope and McLean voting in the negative.

MOVED Director McGuffie, SECONDED Director Garnish, that "Regional District of Nanaimo 1999 Annual Budget Bylaw No. 1151, 1999" having received three readings be adopted.
